LEGO 41040: Friends, 60063: City, 75056: Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar, Day Two Review.

Good morning everyone! Or good afternoon or maybe Good evening? Depending on what part of the world you are from I can safely say I have you all covered. :-D

It was a bit of a rush for all of us this morning, from me sleeping in later then normal and trying to get Chloe ready for school and Jaspa ready for kinda, the important thing is we still had time to open and build day 2 of our Advent Calenders. :-D Lets take a look at what each of us got today.

This morning Chloe got a toboggan/sled behind door number 2. I use 10 pieces to build it. It's a nice simple way to show kids how to use the SNOT (Studs Not On Top) technique. Mia looks kind of awkward sitting so high on top of it, but on it's own the toboggan does looks the part.

Just the one spare.

This morning I got a Red letterbox. An almost exact match to the one seen in the 10222: Winter Village Post Office set. Instead of using a Round 2 x 2 Black brick, they used the standard 2 x 2 Black brick. We also get a green frog. I don't know the frog looks like he is smiling, wouldn't it's butt be freezing! I think the boy is clued in on it. 8 pieces were used to build the letterbox.

Here are the Spares from the City build.

Jaspa got himself a Super Battle Droid! And he couldn't be happier! He can now go add it to the rest of his Droid army that have shown up in this years sets.

We were all happy with this mornings builds. One thing Chloe did say this morning (I think she even asked last year) was, "Why haven't I got a Santa in my Calendar?" She has a good point! You can tell by the box art that she is right :-/
I can already see that a couple of things will enter our Winter Village MOC. The Letterbox for sure! The toboggan could make an appearance and if Jaspa allows it, his tank from yesterday. It would fit in very nicely in the Toy Shop.

That's it for Day 2 of the Advent Calendar reviews. Thank you for dropping by and check in again with us tomorrow and see what little goodie we get to build. :-)

Tan Tile signing out! See you all tomorrow!
